A friend

So the other day I went to a Cyclones game in Brooklyn with a friend of mine from school and he says to me, "you still have to draw that picture of me" so I figured yeah I should, and I wondered why I wasn't jumping at the chance. I mean any opportunity to draw anything should be taken I guess. Unless it's a giant steaming turd.

Crying King

I came up with this concept after I saw the trike piece by James Jean. James Jean is truly an inspiring artist, the way he intermixes great art and exceptional design, it's no surprise he's reached both fame and success in the art community. What I am doing here isn't exactly like he does but I admired the concept I wanted to try something. The piece is relatively lose but I wasn't trying to accomplish much this. The main reference is on the bottom.

Heart

A concept from my head that I've been trying to illustrate for awhile, I horror-like dungeon setting, I've been doing alot of close up 1 plane generic pieces but hopefully after this I'll try to be more 3 dimensional with my perspectives. PCS3, Been working on it on and off. Yes I abuse "Lighting effects" but everything is merely a tool for something bigger right

Of course I have multiple copies because I'm working on something I'm an extreme a head case. I've been working alot on using different brushes and while also abusing the rendering filters like I did with my Samus piece. Hopefully I'll try out more scenic things.

My original heart is a little "red" but before I managed to "spook up" the hue of the latter version I became pretty satisfied with the range of color I had put in.

Daredevil

So I picked up an issue of Daredevil #506, and I really admired the whole classic Japanese stage, coloring and theme of the cover. So I thought of actually putting the Daredevil in samurai attire against a typical background. This is where I got the inspiration for the illustration, http://i40.tinypic.com/wjalvq.jpg It was a good issue too. Daredevil may be one of my favorite Marvel characters, I do not have many but I definitely think he would be in my top 5. Along with Spiderman, Deadpool, Wolverine and Cable (reluctantly).
