Political Cartoon #1

Yes, I have been keeping up with my fake figure drawings worry not, but I want to take this time to try to create a new identity for myself. I've always been interested in politics and while my knowledge of it isn't exactly where I want it to be be, I think I'm opinionated enough to do some cartoons about some of our "leaders". For now I'm just doing exaggerated portraits. So I'll eith post up some new figure drawings (which are kinda fake) or some of these neato uppity cartoons that may or may not make you hate me, either way its great publicity. Mitch McConnell is a person who was fortunate enough to look like an adorable old man but proved to be undeniably evil when he decided it was ok, no encouraged subjecting the poor to horrible to living standards and impending destitution through poor legislation. So now whenever I see him I all I see is this.

Posemaniacs sketches

I'm using posemaniacs.com as an alternative to using live models. So far its pretty interesting. Makes up slightly for not having much access to live models.

Comic con 2011, was very eventful, saw a ton of great that gave me important feedback. Now all I have to is put out stuff and get people to look. So I'm dedicating this year to building and Identity for myself. It i have the time possibly put up a webcomic through this blog. Well enough of that, here are some bad pics...yes that is Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy from everything great about Batman, and yes that is a man dressed as Ruby Rhode from The Fifth Element.

Status update.

Its been a while since I made a real post but I'll briefly summarize what I'm doing, um working in a self published comic with a friend. Most of the summer has been spent preparing it for comiccon nyc. I'm putting a lot of efforts I.to it and pretty nervous because this will be my first comic. It's a fun title called mutant mullets from mars. I'm hoping to get some panel shots up this week but for now I hope these upcoming camera shots do something for ya.

My love for Donkey Kong

So I love the DK series on the Super Nintendo. Although it was a little before my current generation, I grew up looking at games like this and went on playing them on my computer when I couldn't afford a Playstation or Xbox..

I did this completely in Photoshop if you ignore the sketch I did in Sketchbook Pro , great program but Iike inking in PS better. Go figure.

I did this design for a friend a while back. I haven't seen it used at all so I guess the idea was scrapped. I was supposed to be for a T-Shirt but it's here now. It's really different from my normal stuff so I thought it needed a spot. I think I may do more of my coloring this way.

So I've been gone for awhile. The end of the academic year has come and so has my reason for extra procrastination.
